If you get in touch via a contact form I will use your details to contact you. If you book a free chemistry call then you will be added to a follow-up list. This list will remind you of when the call is, and where to go. Without this, it’s gonna be a lot of hassle and I’d have to start charging for them.
Sometimes, if we can’t reach you, we may attempt to track you down. This usually happens when someone buys something, and then they email us. We reply, and the email bounces (which means they don’t get it). We try again, and it bounces again. So we try and find you on social media to let you know there’s an issue. This happens about twice a year. We call this great customer service.
I do everything I can to keep your data safe and secure. I’ll let you know if something goes wrong, generally via email. Most data breaches come from stupidity like leaving your passwords open on your unlocked PC… My PC is encrypted, and so is my phone. And the PC never leaves my office which is locked at night. I also have two sadistic cats and the ghost of Rottie guarding the PC. The cat sleeps on it whenever she can. If you can get her off without having your hands shredded then you’ve done well, but will have woken me up and I’m awesome with a baseball bat. But let’s not have to use this option as I’m not sure I can run my business securely from a laptop in prison.
02. Email Marketing
All emails are marketing emails. All those “this is me eating a Jaffa Cake” emails are marketing emails. They show I’m a normal down-to-earth person running a business and that I’d like to do business with you.
I aim to make all my emails friendly, chatty and worth reading. Every now and then (one in 4 emails) I’ll invite you to something that will help you grow your business, or make more marketing impact. If you visit the page you will get follow up emails based upon your interest.
You can reply to any of my emails and I’ll talk back to you. If the thought of doing business and growing your business scares you, please don’t subscribe to my emails. I want you to be successful and have a wonderful business, and I want to help you with that. So I’m gonna keep inviting you to check things out to see if they fit. Some will, some won’t, and if you’re not sure you’re welcome to book a call and ask. As an ethical entrepreneur, the karmic debt from misselling isn’t worth telling you something is right for you when it’s not. That said, I can only be guided by the information that you tell me. This is of course in confidence.
You’re not a hostage. Every single email contains an unsubscribe button so you can leave whenever you want.
If you’ve purchased something from me, and unsubscribe, you may hear from me one additional time about your logins etc. I use legitimate interest to email you here because you are a customer. You can be added back to the customer list so you never miss your logins, upgrades, bonuses etc. at your own request. It might cause a bit of a hiccup, but we’ll survive.

Enabling marketing cookies is not strictly necessary for the website to work but it will provide you with a better content experience. I write based on what you’re looking for and then use the cookies to tell me if I have it right. You can delete or block these cookies, but if you do that some features of this site may not work as intended. The cookies only give me a broad overview of who you are, and they tend to group things together like 61% of the readers of this site are female. I don’t know the individual person’s details but I do know they are more likely to be female.
The marketing cookies help me connect with you in other ways. Say you look at a course page and you get distracted. I may post an advert as a reminder and say “hey come and look at this again”. I may remind you to download a gift, or I may try and connect with you this way to get new logins to you.
The cookie-related information is not used to identify you personally, it can’t tell me where you live or your bank account details, and they won’t send me money or do anything other than feed me tempting little morsels about whether my content is reaching the right people or not. These cookies are not used for any purpose other than those described here.
How to control cookies
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish – for details, see aboutcookies.org. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.
04. Your Rights, Our Rights and the Right Rights
GDPR gives you some new rights. I’m not quite sure how they work, but if you contact me asking me to remove you, I’ll do that. If you re-optin afterwards we might get in a bit of a pickle. I’m sure we will work it out.
Our business is registered with the Information Commissioner and various other places. If I’m instructed to hand over data, I will seek legal advice, and then do as advised. I’d prefer not to be put in this position so make sure you contact me with what needs doing and give us a reasonable time to do it.
